A Trip to Mars

Avanti Planetaros (Gunnar Tolnæs), a navy captain raised by an astronomer father, wants to leave the Earth and reach another world. He becomes an aviator and, with the young scientist Dr. Krafft (Alf Blütecher), builds a spaceship, then gathers a crew of fearless men while Professor Dubius mocks the whole plan. Holger-Madsen sends them to Mars, where Avanti meets Marya, a Martian who returns his feeling.
