An elderly woman returns to her childhood country cottage after a phone call, and memories of an orphan boy she knew 47 years ago come back. At sixteen, Sun-yi (Park Bo-young) was sent there for her health and found a feral boy (Song Joong-ki) on the grounds, and she set about teaching him to behave like a person. Jo Sung-hee puts the question to his viewer early: whether the beast in him can be held back long enough for the two to have any life together.
