A Woman's Face

Anna Holm (Ingrid Bergman) has a scarred face and a criminal's habits, and she wants nothing from anyone, least of all pity. Then a plastic surgeon offers to repair what the world has been flinching at, and Gustaf Molander follows her as she tries to walk away from the people she used to run with. The question under all of it is whether a new face can change a person, or only give her somewhere else to hide.
