A Wonderful World

“A day of being rich is better... than a life of being poor!”

Juan Perez (Damián Alcázar) sells his chance at a day's work to the nearest bidder, a man with nothing and a family waiting on him. Then a government program lifts him into a job he never applied for, and Luis Estrada lets the offer arrive like a promise from a storybook. The film moves from Rosita (Cecilia Suárez) in a doorway to Juan's worn shoes on bare pavement.
