“Love makes life live...”

Aarohi Kesav Shirke (Shraddha Kapoor) wants to sing, and she gets her first real chance from Rahul Jaykar, known as RJ (Aditya Roy Kapur), a musician whose own career is sliding away. Mohit Suri builds the film around the pair as RJ's drinking and temper sit alongside the songs he writes for her. As her name grows and his shrinks, people start to say he is only with her for the fame and the money, and that talk puts the whole relationship at risk.
