Abandon

“Watch who you leave behind.”

Katie Burke (Katie Holmes) is a senior at one of the country's most prestigious universities, with a thesis due and a job at a top consulting firm waiting if she finishes it. Two years ago her first love vanished without a word, and Detective Wade Handler (Benjamin Bratt) reopens the case just as she is trying to move on. Stephen Gaghan, directing for the first time, keeps Katie caught between a past she can't settle and a future she can't afford to lose.
