“NO NAME FOR HER BABY...only a PRICE!”

Los Angeles in 1949, and Paula Considine (Gale Storm) has come to town looking for her missing sister. She gets help from Mark Sitko (Dennis O'Keefe), a newspaperman who follows the trail into a black-market baby ring. Joseph M. Newman keeps the search moving through the city's back rooms, where Chief MacRae (Jeff Chandler) and a man named Kerric (Raymond Burr) stand between Paula and the answer, and the ring will not let a reporter walk away with it.
