Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops
“Slapstick chases!... Pies in faces!... Shapely beauts in bathing suits!”
Harry (Bud Abbott) and Willie (Lou Costello) hand over their money for the old Thomas Edison studio lot, only to learn the man who sold it to them, Gorman, never owned it. They chase him to Hollywood, where he is posing as a foreign film director named Sergei Toumanoff. Charles Lamont sends two broke men into a movie set, and the film is built on what a pair of bad ideas does for a double act.
