Abe

“You can’t choose your family.”

Abe (Noah Schnapp) is a twelve-year-old in Brooklyn who lives mostly in the kitchen, and cooking is the only thing that quiets his head. His mother Rebecca (Dagmara Dominczyk) is Israeli and Jewish, his father Palestinian and Muslim, and every holiday dinner turns into an argument. Fernando Grostein Andrade follows Abe as he tries to put the family at one table, and each dinner risks being the one where they stop speaking.
