Absentia

“There are fates worse than death.”

Tricia (Courtney Bell) wants one thing: for her husband, missing seven years, to still be coming home. Her younger sister Callie (Katie Parker) moves in while the paperwork to declare him dead in absentia piles up, and she pushes Tricia to let go. Mike Flanagan keeps the sisters in the house and the tunnel nearby, and Callie, practical and worn down, keeps finding reasons to walk toward it.
