“When every college turned them down. . . they made one up.”

Bartleby Gaines (Justin Long) is a high school slacker who gets rejected by every college he applies to. Rather than tell his parents, he invents his own school, the South Harmon Institute of Technology, and sets it up in a rundown building near his hometown with help from Sherman Schrader (Jonah Hill). Steve Pink's debut comedy puts a lie with a real student body and a real campus at stake, and Bartleby has to keep it standing.
