“Guilty until proven innocent”

Babies keep dying on the wards where the pediatric nurse Lucia de Berk (Ariane Schluter) works, and no one can say why. Judith Jansen (Sallie Harmsen), an assistant prosecutor, builds the case that puts Lucia in the dock, and Paula van der Oest follows the evidence as it begins to point somewhere else. The doubt sits between the two women, one who needs a conviction and one who insists she has done nothing.
