Acts of Vengeance

“Payback Speaks Louder Than Words”

Frank Valera (Antonio Banderas) talks for a living, a lawyer whose whole career runs on his voice, until his wife and daughter are killed and he wants the people responsible. He takes a vow of silence he will not break until he knows who did it, and he starts rebuilding his body for what comes next. Isaac Florentine, who came up directing martial-arts action, stages the fights in long, clear takes so you can see every strike land.
