Adam Resurrected

“In a world gone mad, being insane was just a way to fit in.”

Adam Stein (Jeff Goldblum) is a Jewish man of extraordinary intelligence, charisma and control over his own body, and no one around him can say where he came from. He has just tried to commit murder again, which sends him back to an Israeli asylum where Dr. Nathan Gross (Derek Jacobi) runs the ward. Paul Schrader, adapting Yoram Kaniuk's novel, puts Adam's sanity and his one chance to be understood on the line.
