Adiós, Sabata

(1970)Directed by Gianfranco Parolini105 min · PG-13Western
“Sabata Aims to Kill ...and his gun does the rest!”

Sabata (Yul Brynner) is a gunslinger who wants to be paid for the job he takes on, and the job is a transport of Austrian gold headed through Mexico. The revolutionaries who hire him need that gold to buy weapons against Colonel Skimmel (Gérard Herter), the garrison leader whose rule they live under. Gianfranco Parolini sets Sabata beside Ballantine (Dean Reed), a rival who is working the same gold, and the two keep circling each other.
