Adopt a Highway

Russell Millings (Ethan Hawke) walks out of prison after 21 years, sentenced under a third-strike law for an ounce of marijuana, and takes a dishwashing job at a fast food restaurant. Behind it, in a dumpster, he finds an abandoned baby, and he has to decide between panic and kindness with no one to ask. Logan Marshall-Green, making his directorial debut, stays close on Russ as he learns the internet and a world that moved on without him.
