Adoption

Kata Csentes (Katalin Berek) is a middle-aged woman who has lived alone for most of her life, and she has decided she wants a child of her own. Her longtime lover Jóska (Szabó László) is married and will not hear of it. Márta Mészáros follows Kata as she takes up with Anna (Gyöngyvér Vigh), an angry teenage orphan from a nearby home, and in the girl she begins to see parts of herself she never looked at.
