Adoration

Simmering emotions have been building for years between two families in a beach town, and nobody will name them. Lil (Naomi Watts) and Roz (Robin Wright) have been best friends since they were neighbors as girls, and their grown sons, Ian (Xavier Samuel) and Tom (James Frecheville), are just as close. Anne Fontaine, in her first English-language film, shoots the summer as one long, sun-bleached afternoon.
