Adult World

“When life gets hard, rise to the occasion.”

Fresh out of college and sure she is meant to be a great poet, Amy (Emma Roberts) takes a job at a sex shop called Adult World because nothing else will pay her. She also hunts down Rat Billings (John Cusack), a reclusive writer she wants as her mentor, and he wants nothing to do with her. Scott Coffey follows her through the shop and the nights with Alex (Evan Peters), her poems still sitting in her bag.
