Adults in the Room

Yanis Varoufakis (Christos Loulis) takes the finance ministry in the 2015 Greek government with a plan to renegotiate the country's bailout. Across the table in the Eurogroup meetings sit Wolfgang Schäuble (Ulrich Tukur) and Jeroen Dijsselbloem (Daan Schuurmans), who will not bend on austerity. Costa-Gavras, shooting his first feature in Greece, puts the stakes in a room with no exit, where a nation's survival and the men who share its cause are both on the line.
