Adventures of Captain Vrungel

Captain Vrungel (Zinoviy Gerdt) is an old sailor who talks a good voyage, and he signs up his yacht and his sailors, Mate Lom and Fux, for an international regatta. Meanwhile an amateur thief lifts a statue of Aphrodite from the Louvre and climbs aboard their boat by mistake. Davyd Cherkaskyi draws it all in bright cutout animation, and the captain steers on with his crew, sure the next harbor will go his way.
