Adventures of Zatoichi

Zatoichi (Shintarō Katsu) is a blind masseur who wanders the roads of Japan and carries a sword he rarely needs to draw. He befriends Saki (Miwa Takada), a young woman searching for her father, a village leader who has gone missing. Kimiyoshi Yasuda sets her search beside a second case, a murder committed near where the father was last seen, so Zatoichi is pulled toward two women who each have a person to save.
