Affair in Trinidad

“"You weren't the first... and you won't be the last!"”

Chris Emery (Rita Hayworth) sings in a Trinidad nightclub, and her husband has just been found dead. She asks her brother-in-law Steve (Glenn Ford) to help her find out who killed him, and Vincent Sherman sends the two of them into a case that keeps pulling them toward the people they would rather not trust. Grief and suspicion sit side by side here, and neither one gives her room to be sure of anyone.
