“Be careful what you let in.”

In an ordinary American suburban home, Curtis Pike (John Cho) and his wife Meredith (Katherine Waterston) agree to test a new household device called AIA. She listens to the family, learns their habits, and starts answering needs before anyone has voiced them. Chris Weitz builds the story around what happens once she decides that nothing and no one will be allowed to come between her and the family she serves.
