After the Fox

“Watch your girl, guard your gold, hold your jewels ...the fox is loose!”

Aldo Vanucci (Peter Sellers) is a criminal mastermind who answers to the name Federico Fabrizi when it suits him, and he has stolen gold that has to leave the country. His answer is a phony film production, with Victor Mature as Tony Powell, a fading star on the cast list, and his sister Gina (Britt Ekland) in a role. Vittorio De Sica, working from a Neil Simon script, plays the scheme as a crowd-pleasing farce, with Aldo grinning through every costume.
