After the Hunt

“Not everything is supposed to make you comfortable.”

Alma Imhoff (Julia Roberts), a college professor, is pulled into a crisis when her star pupil Maggie Resnick (Ayo Edebiri) accuses Alma's colleague Hank Gibson (Andrew Garfield) of sexual abuse. Alma has to decide where she stands, while a secret from her own past starts working its way toward the surface. Luca Guadagnino keeps the camera close on faces across dinner tables and in offices, so every pause in a conversation carries weight.
