“All he had left was revenge”

A passenger airliner collides with another aircraft in the sky in 2002, and the film builds out from that fact, with the names, places and nationalities changed. Roman Melnyk (Arnold Schwarzenegger) loses his wife and daughter in the crash, while air traffic controller Jake Bonanos (Scoot McNairy) was on duty when it happened. Elliott Lester follows both men afterward, Roman with his grief and Jake with his guilt, the empty days stretching out behind them.
