Against All Flags

“The greatest sea adventure of the them all!”

In 1700, the pirates of Madagascar hold the Indian Ocean from Libertatia, a natural fortress the British Navy cannot take by force. So the Navy sends Brian Hawke (Errol Flynn) to get inside, where he meets the sword-handy Spitfire Stevens (Maureen O'Hara) and the pirate lord Captain Roc Brasiliano (Anthony Quinn). George Sherman keeps the swordfights and ship battles coming at a quick, crowd-pleasing clip.
