Against All Odds

“Sometimes love is the most dangerous game of all.”

Terry Brogan (Jeff Bridges), a cynical former football star, is hired to find Jessie Wyler (Rachel Ward), the runaway mistress of Jake Wise (James Woods), a ruthless nightclub owner in Los Angeles. Taylor Hackford sends him south to a Mexican island, where the search turns into a love affair he did not take the job for. Jessie was supposed to be a name on a list, and now she is the person across the table.
