“Survive the search. Survive each other.”

In 1909, a Danish expedition crosses the ice of Greenland, and two men are left behind. Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Iver Iversen (Joe Cole) have only each other and whatever they can haul. Peter Flinth, working from Mikkelsen's own account, sends them out across a frozen landscape where one wrong decision and one bad stretch of weather could end them.
