Ahed's Knee

Y. (Avshalom Pollak), a filmmaker, flies back to Israel to prepare a new film about the conflict with the Palestinians. He is invited to a screening of an earlier work at a government institution, where Yahalom (Nur Fibak), an official, meets him in a remote desert town. Nadav Lapid lets Y. sit with the phone calls to his dying mother, the voice thin on the line.
