Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman

“America's most notorious female serial killer.”

Most people know Aileen Wuornos only as the woman who killed along Florida's highways in 1989 and 1990, and almost no one knows what came before. In 1976, a young Aileen (Peyton List) arrives in Florida to leave a tragic past behind and marries Lewis Fell (Tobin Bell), the wealthy president of a yacht club. Daniel Farrands fictionalizes her early life, and the question hanging over her new place in high society is whether she was ever allowed to belong.
