Air Doll

“A very "human" story.”

One morning in Tokyo, an inflatable doll belonging to a lonely man named Hideo (Itsuji Itao) wakes up and walks out the door while he is at work. Nozomi (Bae Doona) wanders the town with a child's wonder, takes a job at a video store, and falls for a coworker, Junichi (Arata Iura). Hirokazu Kore-eda follows her through these first days, when everything is new and a single puncture could end her.
