Airport

“The #1 novel of the year - now a motion picture!”

Somewhere in the passenger traffic of a Midwestern airport, a man carries a plan to destroy a Boeing 707 in flight. Meanwhile George Seaton follows Mel Bakersfeld (Burt Lancaster), the airport manager, who has to keep the terminals open through a snowstorm while pilot Vernon Demerest (Dean Martin) and Tanya Livingston (Jean Seberg) work their own corners of the night. Mel keeps the runways clear and the phones answered, and nobody tells him what is already aboard.
