Ajami

Omar, an Israeli Arab in the Ajami neighborhood of Jaffa, is hunted by a gang of extortionists who have turned on his family. Scandar Copti and Yaron Shani spread the story across several lives in the same streets, among them Malek, an illegal Palestinian worker scraping together money for his mother's operation, and Dando, a cop searching for his missing brother. Each of them is carrying one private fear, and the neighborhood keeps pressing them closer together.
