“His True Shocking Story...Filmed with Bullet Force!”

Al Capone (Rod Steiger) steps off the train in Chicago at the dawn of Prohibition, a small-time hood hired to guard the racketeer Johnny Torrio (Nehemiah Persoff). Richard Wilson follows the climb through murder, extortion and political fraud, with a narrator (James Gregory) logging it like a case file. Capone ends up running the city's biggest business, and the film keeps its eye on a man who wants more than he can hold.
