A street orphan named Aladdin (voice: Scott Weinger) stumbles upon a magic lamp and releases a genie (voice: Robin Williams) who grants three wishes. Aladdin uses the first to become a prince so he can court Princess Jasmine (voice: Linda Larkin), but the palace vizier Jafar (voice: Jonathan Freeman) has his own designs on the lamp. By the end, Aladdin must choose between the power that could make him anything and the person he actually wants to become.
