Albatross

“Beautiful. smart. talented. trouble.”

Emelia (Jessica Brown Findlay) wants to be a novelist, and she turns up in a town on the south coast of England with that ambition and little else. She takes a job cleaning for the Fischers, a family held together by habit, and befriends the bookish teenage daughter Beth (Felicity Jones). Niall MacCormick sets the story in a house where nobody talks, and the title names a burden a person carries and cannot put down.
