“Don't Ever Cross Alex Cross”

A friend of Detroit homicide detective Alex Cross (Tyler Perry) is found murdered, and the killing carries the signature of a contract killer who treats the job as a point of pride. Cross, a psychologist as well as a cop, is weighing an offer from the FBI when he vows to find whoever did it. Rob Cohen puts him opposite Picasso (Matthew Fox), and Cross keeps looking while his wife Maria (Carmen Ejogo) stands somewhere behind the case.
