“Her life is just getting started. Again.”

Alex (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) is a lawyer who wants to keep her work, her son Dakota (Skylar Gaertner) and her father Roger (Don Johnson) all in order at once. Then her stay-at-home husband George (Chris Messina) walks out, and the house she barely ran lands entirely on her. Chris Messina, directing for the first time, puts what she could lose on the table: her job, her son's trust, her father's care.
