Alfie

“Meet a man who never met a woman he didn't love.”

Alfie (Jude Law) is a charming Brit in Manhattan who drives a limo, talks straight to the camera, and keeps every woman he sees at arm's length. Julie (Marisa Tomei) is a single mother who lets him stay, which is about as close as anyone has come to getting through. Charles Shyer follows him from bed to bed, and the closer Julie gets, the more his easy habit of leaving starts to look like a philosophy he has to defend.
