Ali Zaoua: Prince of the Streets

Ali (Abdelhak Zhayra) wants to be a sailor, and he holds onto the story his mother, a prostitute, once told him of a miracle island with two suns. He lives on the Casablanca portside with Kwita (Mounïm Kbab), Omar and Boubker, boys who left Dib's gang and now dread his revenge, and who get through the days on glue. Nabil Ayouch keeps the film among children who have been left to raise one another, and the island is the only thing any of them owns.
