Alice

“A film made for children… perhaps?”

A quiet young English girl chases a white rabbit and ends up somewhere that looks like her own world, only wrong. Alice (Kristýna Kohoutová) is surrounded by living objects and stuffed dead animals, and Jan Švankmajer builds it all from stop-motion and live action in dark, cluttered rooms. She has to find her way out, however twisted or odd the way turns out to be.
