Alice

“A younger man and a bolder woman”

In Manhattan, sixteen years into her marriage to Doug (William Hurt), Alice Tate (Mia Farrow) is a mother of two with a bad back and a growing fixation on Joe (Joe Mantegna), a sax player she keeps seeing at her children's school. Woody Allen sends her to Dr. Yang, an herbalist who decides the trouble sits in her heart, and his herbs hand her powers she never asked for. Her ordinary life is now open to whatever she decides to do with them.
