Alice and the Mayor

Paul Théraneau (Fabrice Luchini) has been mayor of Lyon for thirty years, and he has run out of ideas. To fill the gap he hires Alice Heimann (Anaïs Demoustier), a young philosopher, and sets her to work in his office. Nicolas Pariser builds the film from their conversations, with a politician's habits on one side and a thinker's certainties on the other, and each risks having them overturned.
