Alice in Acidland

“This is NO fairytale!”

In 1969, Alice Trenton (Sheri Jackson) is a cheerful college student who gets invited to a pool party by Frieda Hamilton (Julia Blackburn), one of her teachers. Donn Greer directs and narrates himself, laying a dry, scolding voice over grainy footage of the party, the drinking and the first hit of acid. Frieda has plans for Alice that the invitation doesn't mention, and the film follows what grows between them.
