Alice's Restaurant
“Every Generation Has A Story To Tell.”
Arlo Guthrie (Arlo Guthrie) is a college dropout with a guitar, a draft notice hanging over him, and nowhere in particular to be. He ends up at Thanksgiving dinner with his friends Alice (Patricia Quinn) and Ray (James Broderick). Arthur Penn films the Stockbridge crowd in grainy light, and Arlo hauls a load of trash to a closed dump, a kid who thinks the day is over.
