Aligarh

Professor Siras (Manoj Bajpayee) teaches linguistics at Aligarh University and wants nothing more than to be left alone with his books and his Lata Mangeshkar records. Then he is suspended on charges of homosexuality, and Deepu Sebastian (Rajkummar Rao), a journalist, comes to cover what has been done to him. Hansal Mehta, working from a true story, makes plain that a man's private life was never anyone else's to judge.
