All About Nina

“Get your act together.”

Nina Geld (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) takes the stage at a New York comedy club and tears into her own life for laughs, a rising comic who falls apart the moment the lights go off. A career break lands in the same weeks as a new romance with Rafe (Common), and Eva Vives uses both to push Nina toward the past she keeps joking around. The film is about how much of a person stays hidden behind the act.
