All Dogs Go to Heaven

“But not all dogs stay there!”

Charlie B. Barkin (Burt Reynolds), a casino-owning dog in 1939 New Orleans, is murdered by his old partner Carface (Vic Tayback) and wakes up in Heaven. He cons his way back to the living, knowing the trip could cost him Heaven for good, and joins his friend Itchy (Dom DeLuise) to plan his revenge. Don Bluth draws the city in warm, smoky colors, then sends Charlie's nightmares of Hell through the frame in sharp red.
